This Privacy Policy explains what information the mobile game BLOBS (“the app”, “we”, “us”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.
1. Advertising data. The app displays ads using Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob may access a device advertising identifier (such as Apple’s IDFA, where you have permitted it) and technical data such as device type, general (coarse) location inferred from IP address, and ad interaction. This is handled by Google, not by us. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data.
2. Username and leaderboard data. If you create a username, we store:
Creating a username is optional — you can skip it and still play the full game. A username does not need to be your real name, and we recommend it isn’t.
3. On-device data. Game settings, progress, unlocked content, and your local identifier are stored on your device (in local storage). This stays on your device and is not collected by us, though it is what links you to your leaderboard entry.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to track you across other apps or websites.
Usernames, scores, and friend connections are stored using Supabase, a third-party hosting provider, on our behalf. Ad-related data is processed by Google AdMob as described above.
The app is rated for general audiences. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because leaderboard usernames are public, we encourage all players to choose a nickname rather than any real or identifying name. If you believe a child has provided information that should be removed, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the game evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
